This role is critical to our success on residential and commercial job sites, including foundation excavation, grading, site preparation, and material handling for custom concrete projects.
We’re looking for an operator who is not only skilled on the controls, but also understands the importance of jobsite safety, efficiency, and teamwork. You’ll work on tightly managed, high-end projects alongside a crew that values craftsmanship, clear communication, and professional integrity.
Responsibilities:
• Operate mini-excavators, skid steers, and other site prep equipment
• Perform trenching, grading, backfilling, and material movement
• Conduct equipment inspections and maintenance
• Support labor team with site setup and cleanup as needed
Requirements:
• 2+ years of equipment operation experience (construction or concrete)
• Strong safety awareness and attention to site conditions
• Ability to follow direction, read site plans, and work efficiently

This position is ideal for someone who understands the concrete construction industry, thrives on building client relationships, and is skilled at preparing accurate, transparent estimates that win projects and build trust.
You will be the face of JP Concrete to builders, architects, and homeowners — walking job sites, reviewing plans, crafting detailed proposals, and helping clients understand the value of precision concrete work. We’re looking for a self-starter with strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
Responsibilities:
• Perform site visits, takeoffs, and client consultations
• Prepare accurate, line-item estimates and formal proposals
• Track leads, follow up with clients, and close sales
• Collaborate with project management and field crews for smooth handoffs
• Represent JP Concrete with professionalism and integrity at all times
Requirements:
• 2+ years in construction sales or estimating (concrete experience preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/plans
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, detail-driven, and reliable
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
